I have been going to Intown Smile Studio for more than 8 years and it is an exceptional practice. Dr. Estep and her team stay up-to-date on the latest in dental health and are connected with the top dental professionals in the area and across the country. Even my son’s orthodontist knows her and has amazing things to say. Love the intown location + free parking! 5 stars!

I went in for a consultation for teeth whitening and the first red flag was there was a $150 consultation fee that I was not told about prior until I was sitting in the dentist chair. Fine, pretty steep but I paid it. However, I should have left right then and there. They the proceeded to take pictures and the dentist came in and told me I needed braces and didn’t even touch on what I was there for which was the whitening. Fine, I appreciated the insight and I actually liked the dentist but it was what came after that turned me off. The office manager came in and quoted me for the teeth straightening which was over $8k. She then wanted me to sign up and pay right then and there. When I hesitated she kept pushing me to try their financing options. I felt like they were in cahoots with this Invisalign type company and were getting a kickback or something bc she was going hard. And to top it all off my $8k quote didn’t even include teeth whitening that I had came in for. When I asked she was like oh yeah we can add that in for an additional amount. Idk maybe for normal dentist they’re fine but I felt swindled and coerced to do this teeth straightening.

However, after getting into the process of fitting the veneers I quickly realized there could be improvements by Dr. Estep and her team. There were a lot of holes in this process that left me confused at times. For the size of the investment, I expected a much more smooth and relaxing experience. Ultimately, I let Dr Estep know I wasn’t 100% satisfied with the veneers and instead of taking any accountability, she flipped it back on me essentially saying that it was my fault. This was surprising and disappointing. To make matters worse, they tried to stick me with $40 for whitening gel at the very end. After a 5-figure investment AND a patient not being completely satisfied, you would think this is something the office would take care of or have included in the process to begin with. Ultimately she did eat the $40, but only after I insisted based on my experience. This left me feeling like Dr Estep and upper management care more about revenue than they do client satisfaction. Did my research and chose Dr. Estep and Intown Smile Studio for substantial restorative work. What a great choice! Dr. Estep, Dr. Michaels, Maria, Molly, Janice and the rest of the Intown Smile Studio team all get an A+++! They could not possibly have been any better in scheduling, communicating, answering my questions, or in the quality of service I have received. I give them my unqualified recommendation. FOLLOW UP: Add Michelle and Alexa to the list of great people at Intown Smile. I am almost done and happier than ever to have chosen this practice. They are the best at what they do.
